The module fits within the training course with the aim of outlining the elements relevant to systemic innovation management in medium and large-sized organizations.

MODE and DURATion

Videos of up to 20 minutes in length “à la” webinar are available for each of the module topics, with or without accompanying slides
The videos can be enjoyed independently of each other

IN PRESENCE – 7h (9:30 – 12:45 + 14:00 – 18:15) :

PART 1 : What is innovation? In what forms does innovation exist and how do they differ from each other?
PART 2 : In what relationship are innovation and strategy? Strategy is not necessarily innovation; innovation, on the other hand, is always strategy
PART 3 : Focus on business innovation and strategic innovation, and what are the main differences between these two forms of innovation
PART 4 : In what relationship are innovation and competitiveness? And how is the latter affected by the former?
PART 5 : How is innovation articulated in today’s organizations? Hints at Closed Innovation and Open Innovation in their different forms
PART 6 : What are the cycles of innovation? How are they articulated?
PART 7 : Testimony (in-person/remote/video, in which case this content becomes part of the kit usable on demand)

IN LIVE STREAMING – 3h (9:30 – 12:45) :

PART 1 : team work assignment, having divided the class into groups: presentation of the use case and representation of the challenge
PART 2 : performance of the activities
PART 3 : presentation / pitch of the different teams and open discussion

OBJECTIVES and skills

The module aims to provide the basic elements necessary to outline what characteristics innovation should have today and what are the relationships between them and the organizational ecosystem. What emerges is the need for structured management, no more and no less than for any other organizational process.

The ability to define an innovation strategy for the organization and to know how to present it by arguing in any necessary forum. Enable to take the first steps in developing an organizational structure dedicated to innovation management.
